Again I told the doorman and suggested they put sand or something on it. Saturday afternoon the same thing happened in roughly the same spot fir the same reason. I told the doorman about it but he didn't see concerned. Last week on Tuesday I slipped and fell on the 4tth floor parking garage. We later stopped at the Argosy in Riverside, owned by the same company, and while it, too, had not reopened buffet and self service beverages, it did have more newer slots and the crew seemed to make a good effort to clean. This was once a very nice casino but it has definitely gone downhill. The Hollywood casino also had a smaller percentage of slots designated non smoking than the Native casinos and the smoking area was filthy with lots of ash trays and slots needing cleaning. We were also disappointed that the casino had not reopened it’s buffet or self service beverages compared to the Native casinos which offered both. (For comparison we had recently visited three Native American casinos along highway 75 north of Topeka and each had all machines working and many newer machines among 5he mix. Worse, it seemed like maybe 10% or more of the slots were out of order. The casino is behind many others in its slot offerings - few newer machines. The casino exhibits signs of not doing well. We were very disappointed - had not been to this casino in past couple of years.
